Working principle:

Septic tank is a primary treatment structure that uses the principles of sedimentation and anaerobic fermentation to remove suspended organic matter from domestic sewage. Domestic sewage contains a large amount of impurities such as feces, paper scraps, and pathogens. The suspended solid concentration is 100-350 mg, and the organic matter concentration BOD5 is between 100-400 mg, of which the suspended organic matter BOD5 is between 50-200 mg. After the sewage enters the septic tank and settles for 12-24 hours, 50%-60% of the suspended matter is removed. The precipitated sludge is anaerobic digested for more than 3 months, so that the organic matter in the sludge is decomposed into stable inorganic matter. The easily corruptible raw sludge is converted into stable mature sludge. The structure of the sludge is changed, the water content of the sludge is reduced, and the sludge is regularly cleaned and transported, landfilled or used as fertilizer.
